In 2006, two of Western Canada’s strongest family-run forestry transportation companies came together. Glen Transport had already been an industry leader for nearly 20 years when DCT Chambers Trucking Ltd. acquired the Cowley, Alberta company in 2006.
With growing operations in Skookumchuck, BC, where Glen Transport became a recognized name in off-highway chip hauling, the company’s head office relocated to the Kootenay community in 2001. Since then, Glen Transport has continued to haul wood chips to pulp mills and saw-mills throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Today, Glen Transport still prides itself on safety, a strong fleet and even stronger customer service.
